Here at Desired Furniture we offer FREE Shipping everywhere in Australia on all orders $1,000+ and the option for our unpacking service!

Unpacking Service

We offer all orders $1,000+ the option to have your products delivered to the ground floor of your home and unpacked by a professional furniture delivery company with over 27 years experience. They will carefully bring your product/s into your home, unpack and remove the packaging for expert, stress free furniture delivery experience. 

Delivery Address:
All delivery locations must be a street address and not a PO Box. Desired Furniture offer Free delivery Australia wide on the premises that the location is on the ground floor with easy access. Locations that require special delivery such as apartment buildings, high rises, premises with restricted access, you must notify us on order at ‘cart’ in notes, or email orders@desiredfurniture.com.au immediately after purchase. A special delivery may occur additional shipping fees and we will advise you of this (if any) before capturing your payment.

Warehouse Locations:
All products are shipped direct from our Suppliers warehouse which are located across Australia. Due to this, shipping time frames may vary depending on carrier. Tracking information will be provided when possible within 48 hours of the items being shipped.

Delivery Times: 
All deliveries are made during business hours Monday to Friday unless discussed directly with the delivery carrier. Please make sure someone is home to accept the delivery and sign to prevent possible re-delivery charges. If you purchase multiple items these may arrive on different days depending on the location of the supplier’s warehouse and stock. In most cases, we expect delivery of items purchased to be completed in 1- 2 weeks.  

Authority to Leave at Address:
We suggest someone be present at the premises to accept the delivery and check the item before signing. If your order has multiple items these may be shipping at different times and received on different days, depending on location of the supplier.

In most instances we pass your contact number onto the carrier and request you be contacted in advance about the delivery time and date. Desired Furniture cannot be held responsible if the carrier dose not contact you.

If you have ordered an item and there is a chance you will not be home to collect and sign for it, an ALT form may need to be completed for some suppliers. On the chance the item arrives, and no one is home to accept the delivery, you may need to contact the carrier to have the items re-delivered which may incur further shipping and freight charges depending on the carrier policies.

Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:
If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information when possible within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within 2 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at orders@desiredfurniture.com.au.

If you are shipping an item for return, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
